Este es el balneario que está situado en las laderas
del volcán del lado de mayor actividad. Es un precioso lugar rodeado
de muchos jardines y de bosque tropical. Hay muchas piletas distribuídas
por todo el lugar, una catarata para sentir el agua en la espalda, un tobogán
y un bar con música en la piscina principal. El lugar tiene baños
y vestidores con lockers y toallas. Estas se dan después de dejar un
depósito ( en los mismos vestidores ) de $10.00 que es retornable. El
lugar tiene un restaurante que requiere reservación y una cafetería.
Entrando al balneario existe la posibilidad de caminar por un sendero que conduce
hasta las últimas coladas de lava solificada. Se dura más o menos
1 hora 20 minutos ida y vuelta. Actualmente este balneario es uno de los mejores
lugares para observar de día y de noche la lava que despide el volcán
continuamente. La entrada por persona es de $ 29.00 y ahora se requiere de reservación
previa hecha por las agencias en temporada altas.

Located in the outskirts of the Tabacon River, Iskandria is a unique site with

The hot springs are located on the active side of the volcano.
There are many beautiful pools, a waterfall for massages, a slide, a wet bar
with tropical music by the main pool. The resort has changing rooms with restrooms,
lockers and towels. The key and the towels are available after leaving a deposit
of $10.00. There is a restaurant a la carte and buffet that always requires
a reservation. The hot springs are one of the best places to see the volcanic
activity by day and by night. The entrance fee is $ 17.00 per person and requires
a reservation by an agency to guarantee the entrance.
Tabacon Resort is a must in a trip to Costa Rica and to the Arenal Volcano.
