Manuel Antonio National Park Tour

Manuel Antonio National Park is deservedly the most popular park in Costa Rica with beautiful white sand beaches surrounded by emerald waters and jungle. Our naturalist guides will explain the history and geography of the area as well as help you get the most of your visit, pointing out sloths, monkeys, iguanas, and a multitude of insects and birds during this very informative three hour walk. Snacks and refreshments are offered and guests may remain in the park after the tour.

Includes: Entrance fee to the National Park and snacks.
Time: 7:30 am - 12 md
Participant Requirements: None, easy walk.
Bring: Comfortable hiking shoes, bathing suit, camera and binoculars if possible.

Dolphin Watch Coastal Tour

Cruise the spectacular coastline from Quepos to the Manuel Antonio National Park in search of dolphins, whales, sea turtles, and unique birdlife including bobbies and frigatebirds which nest on islands believed to be ancient Indian burial sites. Guides will explain the history of the Quepos indigenous community and the geology of the area, highlighting dramatic features such as blow holes beneath towering cliffs and the formation of the national park. The tour will include a visit to the secluded beach at Biesanz Bay for swimming and tropical snacks.

Time: 8:30am - 12 md, and 2 pm - sunset
Participant Requirements: Good for the whole family.
Bring: Bathing suit, sun protection, t-shirt and hat.

Naranjo River Rafting Class III-IV

Villa Nueva Section On this half day white water adventure you will encounter challenging rapids surrounded by a pristine jungle. If you are a first time or experienced paddler looking for the excitement of big waves, hidraulics, and stunning scenery, then this trip is for you!

The drive from your hotel to the put-in is only 30 min. (aprox.). At the river we will provide you with a flotation device, a helmet and a paddle and your professional white water rafting guide will give you a safety orientation. We will then jump in the rafts and start negotiating rapids like "Robin Hood" and "Hurricane Cesar." Half way through we will stop to catch our breath while enjoying some snacks and fresh fruit on the river shore. At the end of the trip our transportation will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel.

Savegre River Rafting II - III

This full day adventure includes a journey into very remote back country of the Rio Savegre for a 4 hour guided Rafting trip with class II and III rapids as well as pristine waterfalls. There are great swimming holes and a large variety of birds including egrets, toucans, osprey, parrots, kingfishers and cormorants. . We will stop for some snacks and a "Tico" style lunch will be served at the Eco-tourism Lodge Coope Silencio at the end of the trip. valley that is home to the Rio Savegre. Time: 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Participant Requirements: Children over 10 & relatively fit adults who can paddle & walk over the rocks. You need to bring river sandals or water shoes, bathing suit, sun protection, t-shirt and hat.

Damas Island Mangrove´s Tour

Treat yourself to a tour by boating the estuary with a guide. There is great birding and wonderful vistas in these mangrove canals. Then enjoy a restaurant lunch or dinner. Excellent chance to see animals and birds. ( Caymans, sloths, crocodiles, boas, white-faced monkeys, egrets and much more ). Specially recommended for senior citizens
Time: according with the high tide.
Includes: a / c transportation, bilingual guide, snacks and lunch.
Requirements: Casual dress, good for every age.

Islas Damas Estuary Kayak

Paddle protected inland waterways, a perfect place to learn this magical way of exploring coastal mangrove areas and seeing wildlife. None of this trip is in the open ocean and the pace of this trip is according to your abilities.
Includes: a / c transportation, bilingual guide, snacks, lunch and equipment.
Time: Depends on tides, duration 5 1/2 hours
Requirements: Relative good shape. ( okay for kids )

Canopy Half Day

This trip offers the excitement of exploring the tropical canopy through a series of suspension platforms which are situated high above the forest floor. These platforms are connected by steel cables that have been specially designed for people to slide across, allowing you to discover the flora and fauna of the tropical forest first hand.
Requirements: Must be over 9 years old and have adventures spirit.

Manuel Antonio Coastal Paddle

A more challenging open ocean paddle along one of Costa Rica´s most beautiful coastlines. Nearby islands are nesting sites for boobies and frigate birds. We stop for a swim and snacks in isolated Biesanz Bay and we lunch at the end of the trip, near the National Park of Manuel Antonio.
Includes: a / c transportation, bilingual guide, snacks, lunch and equipment.
Requirements: Some experience or reasonable fitness as waves and surf are common.

Horseback riding to the Waterfalls

Combine the adventure of a magnificent horseback tour with the warm family atmosphere at our Restaurant / Rancho. We are located in the foothills of the Cerro Nara mountains, 30 minutes from Manuel Antonio. Our guides are experienced and bilingual.

On the Full Day Tour we ride through unspoiled tropical rainforest to an awesome 127 meter ( 300 ft. ) waterfall. Here you will find a comfortable rancho with a dressing room and restroom. Enjoy refreshment and fresh fruit, and refresh yourself in the sparkling waters of the natural pools. The total riding time is 3 hours ( 1 1/2 hours each way ) and the time you spend at the waterfall is up to you.

For those who have small children, or older people who do not want to ride for a long time, we offer a half-day tour. The horseback ride is about an hour each way to the waterfall.
The half day tour is offered year round in the morning, and during the summer here ( Dec. - May ), afternoon tours can be scheduled. Come and explore the mountains of the Cerro Nara, the chasms of the Rio Naranjo, and the small waterfalls and perfect natural swimming holes, as well as the beautiful plants and wildlife.
Our tours guarantee your total safety and are recommended for all ages.
Both full day and half day tour include breakfast, horseback tour, lunch and transportation.

Bring a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and insect repellant, and a fresh change of clothes if desired. We suggest you wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
