ACCOMMODATIONS

All of our guestrooms have a breathtaking view of the Valley of the Sun, mountains and the city stretching out in the distance. Each of Alta's sixteen deluxe rooms, 4 suits and the Penthouse have been individually planned by renowned New York designer, Keler Henderson. Custom-crafted furniture has been selected to provide a deluxe and comfortable atmosphere. All rooms have central air conditioning, telephone, color television with cable, mini bars and balconies. Our luxurious bathrooms offer a host of thoughtful amenities, exquisitely tiled vanities, bath robes and hair dryers.

DELUXE ROOM
The Deluxe rooms, with either queen or double beds are handsomely appointed and feature spacious balconies with expansive views or private patios with lush tropical gardens. Our luxurious bathrooms offer exquisitely tiled vanities and a host of thoughtful amenities.

JUNIOR SUITE
A generous-sized, 2-room suite with king or queen beds in the master bedroom. The adjoining living room includes an additional sofa bed. All suites feature spacious balconies or private patios.

MASTER SUITE
The Alta’s most luxurious accommodation is located on the top floor and features a king-size bed and a large balcony with a dazzling view of the Valley below (on a clear day the Gulf of Nicoya can been seen). The spacious bathroom has a Jacuzzi and steam bath.

THE PENTHOUSE
The entire top floor can be rented and secured from the rest of the hotel. It features three guest rooms (including the master suite) each with king-size beds and an exquisitely appointed living area, dining and reception room and Moroccan fountain patio on an open-air balcony.

LA LUZ RESTAURANT
Dining at La Luz Restaurant is an extraordinary experience. The décor is exquisite: hand-forged lamps, garden-fresh flowers, pegged floors made of tropical hardwoods, and a hand-painted ceiling surround the guest. The restaurant’s large glass windows reveal sweeping views of the valley below.

The menu features the finest in specially created nouvelle Mediterranean cuisine. Using the freshest produce, meats, fish and spices of the region skilled chefs fuse a splash of Costa Rica with continental and California influences to create an unforgettable dining event. Impeccable service heightens the entire dining experience. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and also provides in-room dining service.

For your special occasions, private dining in our wine room is also available. Patio dining in our poolside garden under a 100-year old Guanacaste tree is also available.

LEISURE

Excellent choice for those looking for something different with good taste and more intimate. Excellent and romantic view of the Central Valley. The restaurant " La Luz " has been awarded for its excellent food.
