CENTRAL
REGION |

The Central Region is located in the center of the country and
it encompasses the Central Valley and its surroundings. Here you
will find all the hotels in San Jose City ( the capital of Costa
Rica ), Alajuela, Heredia and Cartago. At the same time this region
includes the hotels located in the Central and in the Talamanca
Range of Mountains, as well as the slopes near the Central Valley.
The Juan Santamaria International Airport is the main airport
countrywide and it is located in this region, 2 kilometers away
from Alajuela City and 17 kilometers away from San Jose. If your
flight schedule requires a late arrival or an early departure
to this airport, you can choose hotels in this region from an
extensive list to start your holidays in Costa Rica.

NORTH
PACIFIC REGION |

| This
region encloses the Guanacaste province in the Northwest of the
territory. In the majority of this region there is a dry tropical
forest vegetation and it is the region where it rains the least
in the Country. In this region you will find most of the beach resorts
and beach communities of the Pacific Coast. You can find hotels
in the area of the Papagayo Golf, Playa Hermosa, Ocotal, Flamingo,
Playa Potrero, Playa Grande, Tamarindo, Langosta, Sámara,
Nósara and many others. The most important national parks
of this region are: the Rincón de la Vieja National Park,
Santa Rosa, Palo Verde, Marine Park Las Baulas, Barra Honda and
the Guanacaste National Park.

NORTHERN
REGION |

| The
northern region and plains is located north of our Central Range
of Mountains. Here you will find all the hotels around the Arenal
Volcano which is the most active volcano in the country. At the
same time it includes all the hotels of Monteverde on the continental
divide, from San Carlos ( El Muelle, Caño Negro, Ciudad Quesada
) and from the plains of the Sarapiqui River.

CENTRAL
PACIFIC REGION |

This
region includes the beaches in the Central Pacific Coast that
are the closest from the Central Valley and San Jose City. It
includes hotels near Puntarenas and Caldera´s Ports, Jaco
Beach, Playa Hermosa ( Jaco ) and also all the hotels from Quepos
and Manuel Antonio. The most visited parks are Carara and Manuel
Antonio National Parks. In this region you will also find the
hotels in the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, that you can reach
using the ferry from Puntarenas to Paquera. The hotels are located
in Tambor Beach, Quizales ( Tango Mar ), Montezuma, Mal País
and Santa Teresa. The National Parks and attractions are: the
Tortuga Island, the Cabo Blanco Wild Life Refuge and the Biological
Reserve Curu.

CARIBBEAN
REGION |

 |
All
the Caribbean Coast from the border with Nicaragua in the north
to the border with Panama in the south. Here you will find hotels
in the area of Tortuguero town, Limon Port, Guapiles, Rainforest
Aerial Tram, Siquirres, Puerto Viejo ( by Talamanca ), Bananito,
Cahuita, Playa Cocles and Manzanillo. The most important national
parks are: Tortuguero and Cahuita National Parks and the Wildlife
Refuge Manzanillo.

SOUTH
PACIFIC REGION |

The
South Pacific region is very often called " The last Frontier".
This region includes hotels in San Gerardo de Rivas ( Chirripo
), San Vito, Golfito, Puerto Jimenez and around the Corcovado
National Park. In this menu you will find hotels near the Sierpe
River, Caño Island and the San Pedrillo Ranger's Station
of the Corcovado National Park, as well as hotels in the south
section of the same park near Carate and Puerto Jimenez.
