Up to five adults can ride in comfort, thanks to generous tandem distance between
front and rear seat. Even with five aboard, the luggage area offers 380 liters*
of space. Tumble the rear seat forward and you have a room for a 26-inch mountain
bike. The highly maneuverable body is less than four meters long and has a short
overhang, yet the vehicle is so spacious, it could be called an SUW (sports
utility wagon).
This full-time 4 x 4 system features a center differential lock, which maintains
power transmission to the other wheels even if one side has no traction, a useful
function to avoid getting stuck in rough terrain. The Bego is built to go the
distance, with its ample ground clearance and a 1.5-litre powerplant that delivers
performance on a par with a 2-litre engine.
