Bosque de Paz is a biological private reserve with 2,200 acres of forested land serving as a natural corridor between the Poas and Juan Castro Blanco National Parks, located in the continental divide at 4350 feet above sea level.

In Bosque de Paz you find an exuberant biodiversity and trees loaded with bromeliads, mosses, orchids and ferns. The lodge is framed in a landscape surrounded by mountains, valleys, rivers and impressive waterfalls. It is an excellent birdwatching site. The place belongs to a lovely Costa Rican family, who is very concerned and active in the conservation of the natural resources in Costa Rica. This place is easy to combine with the Poas and Arenal Volcano.
